Quick notes on Last year!

Seems that most of us settled in on the Covid rules. Rare to see one objecting.

Masks were our normal. Social Distancing was our normal. Fewer patients in doctor waiting room normal (Still).

On the plus side there are no way out of date magazines in the waiting rooms. But no magazines at all is not good. That is our normal.

We were able sit in restaurants with out masks when seated. Tables separated the Social Distance. Wait staff masked or shielded correctly.

My thought is that after hearing the reason for our masks, distancing, fewer people, etc we understood and worked with our new normal.

Our lives were the same individually and with those we live with. The same could be said about our daily interactions and work.

This second year of this pandemic we are looser on the rules but there are places that have returned to last years normal and even more places are considering it. All because there is a new variant or more that need to be taken seriously.

All we can do is be Safe and Healthy.

I am a retired Controls Engineer, Teacher and Code Officer. While in teaching I worked with students in crisis. This taught me to listen. Before all that I had Testicular Cancer in 1975 . In both cases I had radiation but for the Prostate it was much more detailed, sophisticated, and focal. My initial Prostate Cancer, Gleason 9 aggressive, treatment included Radiation and Hormone therapy. I am now on my third round of treatments. Yes the Cancer has returned but no spreading so far. PET scans, bone scans, MRI and lots of xrays under my belt. Along the way I wrote a book about my Cancer experience, titled the same as this Blog. I need to share my thoughts on Cancer and life in general. Life is too precious to spend it angry, in pain, with fear, and doubts. All I am trying to do is help others with Cancer be better.
